And, Installation!

Today I installed two of the four exterior lights, white ones down, black ones up.

The lampost and front entrance light have been changed from the old white ones that were the originals to nicer black ones.

The lamppost will be painted black; it was fortunate that the light fixture fit on the existing post. It ended up being an effective upgrade with low cost.

I got sidetracked a little because, when I went to move the car out of the garage, it wouldn’t start. Initially I thought it was the battery but with some help from my across the street neighbour, Allan, we determined it was because of corroded terminals.

Once they were cleaned up, everything worked fine.
