Treasure Chest

Yesterday I started working on the Treasure Chest Time Capsule for Max. I made very good progress, but I realized I had miscalculated on the size.

I wanted the chest to be big enough to hold an 8 1/2 x 11 inch document flat. What I failed to take into account was that the arch of the lid would make it narrower than planned.

So I will finish this one and try to sell it on Kijiji and make another one. It’s no big deal because I enjoy doing it and I hadn’t yet personalized it.
