Progress on Project

This morning I finished cutting hardboard templates for the component parts of the rocking horse that I’m making.

I had already cut the paper patterns which I then sprayed with adhesive and affixed to the hardboard before cutting them on my bandsaw.

Next steps will be to procure the wood, use the hardboard templates to draw the outline of the different pieces on the wood and cut them out.

I decided to make the hardboard templates because I may make more than one rocking horse. We’ll see.

This afternoon I got the water turned on outside and got our waterfall operational for the season. In the meantime, MY Jane undertook to thin out the honeysuckle on the arbour.
