We broke camp early this morning and headed for Westport, a little village I passed through many years ago and where I always wanted to return because it was so picturesque.

We had breakfast there and a couple that lived in Westport suggested we take a look at the village from Spy Rock, a nearby sightseeing spot.
After that we toured around Westport a bit and bought some rocks for Max’s collection.
Then it was on to Smiths Falls where we watched a boat lock through on the Rideau Canal.

We then spent a couple of hours at the Railway Museum where one of the volunteers, Brian Read, was most helpful.
