This morning a young guy named Eric, arrived to begin tiling the new shower enclosure. We had a discussion about what kind of pattern we wanted for the 1 x 2 tiles. We elected to go with a vertical 1/3 pattern which will make the ceiling look higher and is very good for a small bathroom such as ours.
We also told Eric that we did not want a sliver of tile at the top edge and he was very careful to figure out how to accomplish that.
This phase of the project will take about three days according to him.
