When I checked the inside of the fridge this morning, there was a little bit of water in the dish that I had placed beneath the drip zone. So clearly yesterday’s fix didn’t work.
I took the freezer panel off again and found that the drain tube had frozen over again. So I got a piece of copper wire and made a coil which I attached to the defrosting element.
The idea is that the heat from the element will be transmitted to the copper coil inside the drain tube and hopefully this will prevent the formation of ice.
We’ll see tomorrow.
In the meantime Jane and I had some fun in the back yard when I kinked the hose she was using and she then tried to hose me down. lol.
