Geodes

Max has become interested in geodes and he received a set from National Geographic which he worked on in the garage.

A geode is a rock, usually with a hollow inside, that has crystals of some kind inside. Here are the different gems that were in this set.

Today we gathered up some stones beside the house and tried breaking them open in the garage, but no geodes were found.
