Today Jane and I had appointments with Dr. Roberti, our optometrist here in Barrie. It was a regular follow-up.
There was very little change from last year, although he did give me a new prescription.
I went next door to Pearle Vision and they wanted $499 for new lenses and I said I was going to check around as that seemed high.
We started walking out when the young man called out to wait a minute and, after talking to his manager, he told me they could do it for $308.00.
On another note, the creature down south has announced a ninety day pause on tariffs. What an idiot. And while the stocks were down, I’d wager dollars to donuts that he bought a bunch along with his greedy cronies. Disgusting!
