To my American Friends
Just to clarify, let me say that anyone who did not vote for the creature, I consider you to be my American friend. We may have some differing opinions but ever since I was a kid growing up in the late forties and fifties, I have always held the USA in high regard. I had always admired the innovation and initiative of the American people.
That is no longer the case. Why? Because no longer is America a kind and empathetic nation willing to help out other poorer nations all over the globe.
America has become the big bully of the world with a President who is of the same ilk. A creature who has no morals, no kindness or caring for anyone other than himself.
We have seen him demand loyalty from others but he shows no reciprocity to those that do. He thinks nothing of throwing them under the bus the first chance he gets when he is being held to account. He demeans anyone who disagrees with him and is vindictive to the core. He is evil.
His supporters have been emboldened by his rhetoric and actions. His habit of speaking in incomplete sentences and allowing followers to fill in the blanks has provided him with deniability for what his followers interpret are his implicit and insidious instructions. He is a master of manipulation and does so time after time after time.
His latest tariff threats and disrespectful comments about my country becoming a 51st state have unleashed Canadian pride and resentment of the USA the likes of which I have not seen or felt before.
I will not be buying any products of the USA and I will not set foot in that country for the next four years.
And by the way, for you so called American patriots who put Canadian crests on your backpacks when travelling in other countries because you know how despised Americans are, stop doing that. Quit being a hypocrite.
I feel sorry for those Americans who are on a similar wavelength as me. It seems there is no amount of logic or rationale that would convince creature supporters to see or care about the truth.
The world is already reeling from his executive orders and it’s only going to get worse. It’s frightening.
