Today I took the deck steps out and proceeded to block all openings that a raccoon or other pest might use to get underneath.
The only entrance and exit that remains is at the other end if the deck which I am monitoring with cameras.
I will block that entrance at the appropriate time, likely after we return from our week long cottage trip.
