Backyard Work

Jane was busy this morning re-arranging stones around a small cedar tree.

We had placed them in that area because grass was not growing there before we removed the maple tree whose shade was preventing the sun from shining in that section of yard.

However, since the removal of that tree, things are growing much better, including grass.

I went to Rona+ to buy some chicken wire and material to use for blocking off access to the underside of our deck. I want to be ready to do that once the raccoon kits are out of the window well. I don’t want them back.

I have a couple of cameras monitoring the movements of the mama raccoon.
