Colleagues

This morning Jane drove me down to Corner Bank Sports Bar in Toronto to attend a Celebration of Life for a guy I worked with at the East Detention Centre over forty years ago (Brian Mellville).

We made it there for the noon start despite the heavy rain on the way.

There was a nice turnout for him and what I found remarkable was the fact that he paid for all the food and non alcoholic drinks before he died.

I was able to reminisce with people I haven’t seen for over four decades.
