Last October, during a heavy and lasting rain, a second roof vent was the site of a leak. I contacted Ainger Group roofing who had fixed a vent leak back in July of 2923 and they sent a guy out.
He came down from the roof and showed me a vent that had a small crack in one corner and he said that was probably the cause.
He told me he replaced the vent.
However, today Jane noticed some dampness on the wall by the bathroom which was the identical spot that was affected last time.
So I called Ainger Roofing again and spoke to Angus, the guy who had done the first repair.
I’m now awaiting for him to give me a time that they’ll be coming to look at this vent.
