The ongoing problems with the fireplace have resulted in a recommendation to disassemble the vent to check for obstructions such as twigs.
So this morning I contacted Affordable Comfort to confirm agreement with the estimate quote that they provided.
A technician will be coming on Friday morning to do the job.
It may mean that I need an adapter because the fireplace is an older model and the current vent is discontinued.
