Today a technician assigned by Enbridge Gas came to change out the gas meter. It only took him half an hour, after which he re-lit the pilot light for the hot water tank and then tried to to re-light the pilot light in the fireplace. He couldn’t get it going.
This pilot light has been an ongoing problem because it keeps going out despite the whole thing being changed out last May.
I called Affordable Comfort and they will be sending someone on Monday.
