Yesterday I was having a lot of trouble getting my computer connected to our new printer. So today I was determined to figure out why.
I concluded that there must be a corrupted file in my computer and, after trying all kinds of fixes without success, I decided to initiate the Restore feature. It took quite a while to complete because the whole Windows operating system had to be re-installed and updated. Also, several apps had to be re-installed.
Success! Everything works and the printer is connected.
