Today Jane and I set out to find one of her ancestors, George McGruther, who lived in Belle Ewart many years ago.
We checked out two cemeteries there but could not find his tombstone, so we decided to pay a visit to the Simcoe County Museum in Minesing.
We spent a couple of hours there and before leaving, Jane bought a book on the history of Simcoe County in which there is reference to George McGruther.
