This afternoon Jane and I drove to Orillia to meet up for lunch at Hills Restaurant with my longtime friend, Jim Burd.
It was a great place to eat and obviously very popular given how busy it was.
Jim is going to be moving into a veterans residence in Orillia next year. He is currently second on the list for the next available apartment in Legion Crest.
His brother, Ken, was supposed to join us, but his plans changed when his son came to visit him.
It was a great visit with lots interesting conversation.
