Affordable Comfort came today to try to get our fireplace operational. Since they did a maintenance update a few weeks ago, the flame and pilot light fail to remain lit.
The technician today, Miguel, suggested it is a vent problem and we will be getting their most experienced technician to have a second look at it before we proceed with a complete vent replacement which will be a major job and likely a major expense.
today was also the day when Sara returned to work, after her matrnity leave. Royce will be attending the daycare at CAMH, where Sara works. It will be less stressful since she can pop in and out as he adjusts to this momentous change in his young life. We are staying in close touch to see how he does.
