We travelled to Toronto this morning to attend a party for Royce to celebrate his very first birthday. He was just waking up from a good nap, so he was set to party!
It was a family affair and the back yard at Steve and Sara’s was full of toys, slides, swings and a brand new sandbox. The kids had a blast!
Royce had his first taste of birthday cake and wasn’t very enthusiastic at the beginning, but soon caught on and he was soon covered in it. He even managed to get some on his Uncle Chris’ nose!
After the cake and a rousing rendition of Happy Birthday, he began opening gifts, a new experience for him. But he had his sister and cousin to help and they were eager to show him the ropes.
Happy Birthday, dear Royce, we look forward to watching you grow!
