It’s Royce’s first birthday on Thursday September 14 and, from the time we found out Steve and Sara were expecting their second child, I had already decided to put together a Time Capsule for him.
I have already done capsules for Max and Roxana in the form of wooden treasure chests to be opened on their tenth birthday.
With Royce, I decided to bury a watertight capsule, also to be opened on his tenth birthday.
So, this Thursday, we are going to Steve and Sara’s to find a spot in their back yard to bury this time capsule.
The stuff that wouldn’t fit in the capsule has been put into the chest and the combination to the lock is the month and year he was born.
