Although we left Argentia late, we arrived in North Sydney at around 10 am, a fourteen hour voyage. We were lucky in that we had a deluxe cabin, one of only six on the ship.

It was a good thing because the ocean was a little choppy with swells of 3 to 4 feet all the way.
When we disembarked, we headed towards Glacé Bay to visit the Miners Museum.

We talked with an 80 year old retired miner named Wish and got a good flavour of the hard work these miners faced.
We also surprised a good friend of ours, Jim McDonald, by doing a video call with him from the street he grew up on and which he left when he was eight.
We then drove to Sydney where checked in to our hotel for the night. Another good day with great weather.
