Jane and I are subscribed to an app called Aurora which notifies us when the Northern Lights will be most visible. Yesterday we got such a notification.
So, around 9:30 PM, we got dressed and drove North of the city to get away from the artificial light.
Unfortunately, after parking on a deserted side road for awhile, the cloud cover did not recede and we were unable to see them.
However, this morning, there were FB posts indicating they were seen last night as close as Coldwater, Ontario.
