Today we headed down to Billy Bishop airport in Toronto to fulfil one of Jane’s bucket list items of taking a helicopter ride.
We had a fifteen minute ride over the city with a wonderful pilot, Isadora, who has been flying for fourteen years. She clearly knew what she was doing because she made it look so easy.
Afterward Steve introduced us to a flight instructor named Alex who let me try a full sized flight simulator which was an awesome experience.
Jane loved her birthday present and added a check mark to her bucket list.
