There was a tenth unsuccessful vote to elect a speaker of the House of Representatives, then main candidate being Kevin McCarthy. Without a speaker, the business of governing is at a complete standstill. It’s another example of the dysfunctional Republican Party.
On another note, our washing machine malfunctioned and I have contacted our extended warranty plan for authorization to get it repaired.
And yet another note, Rina next door is in full blown coughing and we have decided that it’s better to be safe; dinner plans cancelled
