We refer to the flower bed at the base of the maple tree out front as the kidney shaped bed.
It was needing a lot of attention having become overgrown with roots and the stone border rocks were heaved out of place because of tree root growth.
So Jane and I spent the morning digging everything up and re-setting the stones. We’re pretty happy with the result and plan on getting a plant for the urn that I painted up yesterday.
As a reward to ourselves we are going out for dinner tonight at the Keg here in Barrie.
