Jane and I are a little annoyed with the neighbourhood squirrels. We give them peanuts everyday, yet they insist on eating the tulips. They haven’t really taken much interest in them up till this year, so we are not sure why now. And they wait until the flower bud opens, then deftly nip it off and sit munching.
All we can see now are green leaves and stems.
Looks like we are going to have to plant something else this Fall. Jane has a few websites that she likes, so she may search for alternatives to tulips.
