Yesterday, the Republican controlled US Senate voted against calling witnesses in the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump. Yup – a trial without witnesses. It’s like trying to have daylight without the sun.
The whole trial has been a sham from the outset. Republican Senate leaders publicly proclaimed that they were in lockstep with the President, despite swearing an oath to be impartial.
The Federal Presidential election this November will tell us the real character of the American people. We already know the character of Republicans.
