Yesterday I did some final touch up sanding and applied some Minwax stain to the rocking horse I named Pal. Then I put a bridle and reins on him that I made out of an old belt. All that’s left to do now is glue down the saddle and apply some protective finishing oil all over. My Jane did some makeup work on the eyes.
I bought some topsoil and applied some grass seed to a bare spot in the shady section of the yard. I’m hoping with the forecast for rain in the next few days that the grass will take hold this time. We’ll see.
