Yesterday MY Jane and I made an unscheduled trip to North Bay because my brother-in-law, Danny took a turn for the worst. He’s presently in the hospital there.

He has been battling cancer and other health issues and my sister, Terry, suggested it would be a good idea to come up.

Dan is sleeping most of the time and can probably hear us talking. A tough time for my sister and their children, Andrew and Stephanie.

We thought we were done with winter last week. Wrong. In the last couple of days we’ve received more snow and the temperatures have gotten colder. It makes it hard to think of summer when all that white stuff is on the ground.

There is light at the end of the tunnel, though. The weather forecast for next weekend shows a much warmer couple of days.

On another note, we are almost completely done renovating the upstairs spare room. Just awaiting delivery of curtains which should come today or tomorrow.
