Last night the fireplace acted up again. The main burner and pilot light went out and, despite my efforts to re-light it, I was unsuccessful.
So this morning I called Enercare again and initially they told me it would be a chargeable call. However after some discussion and being transferred to another department, they agreed to honour their 90 day warranty on labour and a technician will be coming today.
I am beginning to think the fireplace, which is 21 years old, may be on its lat legs. We’ll see what the technician says.
