This morning I beveled the legs and put the rockers together-just a dry fit exercise. I still have to do some sanding and countersinking of screws, but I am happy with my progress. The saddle will be stained a walnut colour while the rest of the horse will be a golden palomino colour, just like Roy Rogers’ horse, Trigger.
I still have to put in eyes and nostrils and I’ll make a bridle and reins from one of my old belts. Then all it will need is a little cowpoke to give it a test ride.
