Yesterday, Minnie was examined and a blood sample taken for analysis. Good news! The test results did not reveal any signs of diabetes or kidney problems.
She was prescribed a mild pain medication which we are to give her twice a day.
In the last couple of days, Minnie has been showing signs of her old self. She is no longer sequestering herself downstairs for hours on end.
The last couple of nights she has come up on our bed and looked for some petting. Like she used to do.
We are relieved that she is not suffering. No one wants that.
