Yesterday I had an “enlightening” experience. By now I thought I pretty much knew how to change a light bulb. Not this one, though.
This one is positioned to shine down on our stylized Georgian Bay medallion.
My first attempt at changing the burnt out bulb was to simply turn it counterclockwise. Nope. That didn’t work. The I tried just pulling downward on it. Nope. Too hard to get a grip.
I know. I’ll put on rubber gloves to get some traction. Nope. That didn’t work either.
After several minutes of failed attempts, I decided to try removing the whole fixture. I reefed down on the thing and out it popped. I was surprised to realize this was what had to be done to change this bulb. Learn something new every day.
