Yesterday, Steve & Sara arrived for the weekend just before Chris and Tonya left to go to Tonya’s family Easter. So there was a bit of overlap during which we had everyone here together. Because Jane is still recovering from pneumonia everyone pitched in to make breakfast brunch which was delicious.
We even had an Easter egg hunt. Great fun!
After Chris and Tonya left, all of us chilled for the day and I decided a nap was in order. Despite the rain, I BBQ’d burgers for supper.
After dinner, I informed Steve and Sara that I had enrolled for training to become a registered officiant in preparation for their upcoming wedding in October. Needless to say, they were both surprised and pleased.
