We don’t see many raccoons in the neighbourhood, although we have had a couple of occasions where they have snuck into the house through Minnie’s windows at night and came upstairs and ate her food.
This morning, though, it looks like we had a visitor sometime last night.
The squirrel buster tube feeder was laying at the base of the birch tree, birdseed strewn about everywhere. The wire securing the feeder to a tree limb was broken. Only something as heavy as a raccoon could have broken it.
It was an easy fix, using heavier wire this time. We’re all set.
