Today, I finished up the last of outside winterizing including draining the hose and hose bib and shutting off the water for the winter.
And after my big bonfire yesterday, I re-covered the fire pit to minimize rusting.
I still have a supply of firewood in the garden shed in case we want to have a Winter bonfire out there around Christmas.
There are still some leaves on the maple trees and we will probably do one more raking before the snow flies.
I have taken down the Halloween flags and put up the Canadian flag over the garage and a poppy garden flag for Remembrance Day.
Other than that, it has been a slow day for me. I even had time for a little power nap this afternoon.
