Sometime ago, we had arranged with our good friends, Annemarie and Jim, to get tickets to see a group called the Caverners at the Opera House in Orangeville. We were supposed to go yesterday but something unexpected arose and they couldn’t make it. The Caverners are a Beatles tribute group and we had seen them once before.
They kindly offered their tickets to anyone we thought might like them.
Coincidentally, our across the street neighbour, Allan, was celebrating his birthday that same day, so MY Jane and I thought it would be nice to offer the tickets to him and his wife, Jenny. They gladly accepted and we went to Orangeville yesterday.
We went to lunch first at a Restaurant across the street from the Opera House and a few celebratory libations before going to take in the show.
It was a great day and a good opportunity to wish Allan a Happy Birthday.
And a big thanks to our friends, Annemarie and Jim, for their generosity.
