This afternoon I made a trip to Ballistic Bowstrings in Bradford to exchange a bowstring for the bow that I made out of a 1 x 3 oak board.
I tried a dozen shots in the back yard, just aiming at the grass. The bow performed very well, in my humble opinion. But I did find out that I need an arm guard when using this thing. I ended up with a bruised forearm from the bow string hitting as I fired the arrows.
Now I want to figure out how to fabricate some targets.
