More Work on Bow

Today, I spent some time doing more work on my red oak long bow. I cut in the arrow rest first.

Then I formed the hand grip using a rasp and sand paper. I would take some wood off then grasp the bow to see what it felt like. Once I had the rough shape conforming to my grip, I sanded it all down.
All I need now is the bow string which was mailed last week. I’m anxious to try this on a target. Maybe even take it with me to Temiscaming this weekend.
