Tonight we are having our across the street neighbours, Allan and Jenny, over for dinner. I was assigned the task of helping to set the table.
I remember once watching a TV documentary about the efforts that go into arranging a royal dinner for British Royalty. I was particularly struck by the attention to detail, even to the point of using a yardstick to precisely measure the placement of tableware.
Not to be outdone, I decided to use the same technique.
