This morning we wakened to our first snowfall of the year. It was just a dusting, but still enough to cover most of the ground. In fact, it is exactly a year to the day that we got our first snowfall last year. This time, though, not as much. Here’s a shot from last year.

The fact that there seems to be a little less this year might be a sign that our upcoming Winter won’t be as long as the last.
I’m glad I got all our outside Christmas lights up before this cold spell hit, although the forecast is calling for it to warm up a bit next week. Soon, we’ll be out looking for a couple of Christmas trees.
