Yesterday Jane and I drove to a little town called Rosemont to meet up for lunch with our good friends, Annemarie and Jim. It was nice because it was almost halfway between where they live and we live. It took us 57 minutes to get there and it took them 55 minutes.
We ate at a little restaurant right on Highway 89 called The Globe. It has a rustic, but appealing, atmosphere and the food is delicious. We have been there a couple of times before.
The Globe Restaurant, just off Highway 89 in Rosemont, was built in 1859 as the Globe Hotel, a local pub and stopping point for the stage coach. All three of the dining rooms feature fireplaces, and in the front dining room you’ll see a beautiful wooden bar and antique cash register.
