Yesterday we cancelled our Rogers Cable account. We had come to the realization that we hardly ever watch regular TV anymore. Mainly we watch the news and NHL hockey. We get our up to date news via the Internet anyway and movies from Netflix via Apple TV.
Because it’s the end of the billing period, we don’t owe anything either.
This will save us $1260 annually.
This morning I will return the cable TV boxes and remotes.

Good for you! I would cancel also, but wifey won't let me…. she has some channels she insists on. Like you , I go through the computer for Netflix, and Putlocker (etc) for movies…. read the news BEFORE cable carries it anyway, via Yahoo.
