MY Jane is in Barrie this morning to take Ted to an appointment.
I’m still at Tonch North and a happy camper; the air mattress held.
We had put most of our food in our cooler which we secured in one of the bear cages. But I did make the mistake of just laying half a loaf of bread in the plastic wrapper in another cage. The racoons managed to pull the bag through the cage holes bit by bit and eat it.
They resourceful little devils.
Yesterday, while sitting in our chairs enjoying the scenery, Jane spotted a bald eagle flying toward us carrying a large fish. It seemed to be headed toward Thumb Point where we saw it earlier.
What a sight. I’ve never seen Eagles in this area before.
Later, I’ll pick Jane up at Brandys and we’ll spend another night. If the weather looks good for the weekend, we’ll stay until Sunday. Steven and Chris want to join us then.
