Our plans for camping on Beausoleil Island are becoming more intense. My Jane has already put together three bins of necessary stuff and written up an inventory.
Today, I will be testing my inverter that I plan on plugging into the cigarette lighter on the dinghy to pump up our queen size air mattress. There is a dinghy pump available, but I don’t know if it will fit into the air mattress valve….something I have to check.
I bought a solar powered Bluetooth speaker/charger so we can play our I phone music when we want as well as charge up our phones. The campsites we have in mind do not have any power and are somewhat remote.
We already tested the 6 person tent…in the rain…and it was nice and dry.
We have to buy a sleeping bag yet, and we will do that in the next few days.
It will take two trips in the dinghy to get all our stuff over there, but we now have the dinghy parked at Brandys Island Marina which is only a 15 minute ride to Beausoleil.
Our first trip will probably be the week of the 15th of June.Â
