Yesterday, MY Jane picked up Ted and, after church, took her shopping, then back to our place.
We sat out in the back yard for awhile, enjoying the sunshine and having a few laughs.
Later on, I BBQ’d some sliders, a favourite of Ted’s, and had some caramel crumble cake that Ted bought.
We are pretty happy now with the back garden. It’s filling in quite nicely and all of the newly planted flowers and shrubs seem to be thriving.
After the BBQ yesterday, I put the new chair covers on the patio furniture just before the rain began. Fortunately, we have the roll out awning over the patio which kept me dry during the time I was using the BBQ.
This morning, my cousin George will be coming over to help me install the new toilet downstairs. It’s a wet dull day outside, so a good time to do this job.
