Yesterday, while MY Jane and I were having breakfast, I received a text from my brother Jerry telling me he was just finishing up in Collingwood after receiving a certificate from Premier Wynne in recognition for his volunteering for the Liberal Party of Ontario. That’s him in the lower left corner at the front.
Because he would be passing close by our place on his return home to Toronto, I invited him to drop in. It’s not often that we get together, so this was really nice!
We had a great visit into the afternoon and, shortly after he left, my cousin, George, picked us up to go to Lobsterfest, a fundraiser put on by the Rotary Club.
We had a fantastic time. The food was delicious and we met some really fun people at our table.
