When you have corn on the cob, how do you eat it? Do you bite the kernels off from left to right? That’s what I do. Or do you do one section all the way around? When you finish, does the empty cob look like this?
MY Jane has her own system – one she invented as a child – and she remembered it last night at dinner.
She eats row by row, left to right, in a very systematic and precise manner. Here’s what the remaining cob of corn looks like.
Mind you, it takes forever and the corn gets cold, but it looks so neat and tidy, doesn’t it?
