Well, yesterday, while MY Jane took her Mom shopping and got her hair done, I worked on the stair lighting. I got the LED strips cut and connected then installed them on the steps. However, I am not satisfied with the install.
They look great from above with a soft lighting effect which I like, but from below, they look harsh and I don’t like that look. Also they are a bit out of alignment which can easily be fixed.
The solution to the harshness, I think, will be to do as my friend, Jeff Priestman, did with his and that is to use diffusers. Jeff got his at Lee Valley so I think, after Easter weekend, I’ll make a trip to the Vaughn store to see what they have. Jeff calls it the $100 store…lol.
Jane, in the meantime, did all kinds of cooking in preparation for Easter dinner which we will be having on Saturday when Chris and Tonya and Ted will be here.
